Privacy policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026. This policy explains what information Perceptle.app handles when you play.

What is stored on your device

Your daily results, statistics, streak, settings (theme, sound) and a random anonymous identifier are saved in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device in the current version of the site. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

What we do not collect

There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no advertising trackers. We do not ask for your name, email address or location, and we do not sell personal data.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the game. It sets cookies and receives technical data such as the pages you open, your approximate location (from your IP address), device and browser type, under Google’s own privacy policy. Your scores and answers are not sent. You can block it with a content blocker or Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and the game works the same without it.

Hosting and logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy. We use this only in aggregate to keep the site running.

Future features

If we add anonymous score comparisons or advertising, this page will be updated first and will describe exactly what is sent, to whom and why, along with any choices you have.

Your choices

Because your game data is kept on your device, you are in control: clearing your browser data for perceptle.app removes your results, streak and settings for good, and a private window starts fresh every time. Nothing is synced between your devices.

Children

Perceptle.app is a general-audience game and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
